On her return to Israel she opened her own workshop where she creates her unique pieces. At this stage she was creating jewelry using ancient archaeological objects such as scarabs, ancient beads, Roman glass and ancient coins set in and enhanced by 22k gold.
After a course at the Quilick School for ancient techniques in jewelry making in New York, she applied the techniques of ancient times such as granulation and hand knitted chains in silver and 22k gold.
In Israel she took a three year course in jewelry design at the Omanit school and participated in jewelry design competitions around the world.
In 1994 Hagar worked as a designer at the Jewelry Exchange Company which owns twelve stores at various locations in Israel. Her unique designs soon became part of the company's new collection.
Back in her own studio Hagar is creating new designs and selling her work to exclusive jewelry shops in Israel and in the United States.
The collection is constantly changing and in the past few years Hagar's work is mainly in silver and gold using wide variety of stones such as Aquamarine, Citrine, Tourmalines and sweet water pearls.
We invite you for a tour in her new website and welcome any inquiries and special requests.
